Having spent many years editing 35mm and 16mm film, SpurFilm believe strongly in the creative processes of non-linear editing and programme finishing.

We have three in-house on-line non-linear edit suites, one of which is full 4:4:4:4 High Definition, uncompressed 10-bit HD-SDI. We can reconform from off-line edls to any format from BetaSP, mini-DV, DVCAM and DVCPRO, all the way up to HDCAM and SD Digital BetaCam, in both European PAL and American NTSC formats.

We can handle SD 720x576i @ 50 or 60 fields, HD 720p, HD 1080p @ 24, 25, and 30fps, and 1080i @ 50 and 60 fields.

Any 4:3 or 16:9 broadcast television programme can be finished on our systems - including full audio mixing and graphic design. We also provide extensive compositing tools with powerful HD version of Discreet combustion.

Our systems offer a large number of extremely powerful functions that give producers the ability to finish their productions at the highest level of visual quality at a sensible price.
